This week we'll be looking more at writing and reading as far as I have understood from the assignments given. Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of an exam week and today's exam must be marked for the day after tomorrow, and tomorrow another group's exam must be marked for Friday etc. but still I'm positive. There is so much interesting ahead so I'm sure there will be time for reading, as well. Actually, I love this opportunity to experience what it is like to be a student and not the teacher. And adapting the student's role in playing truant (late postings for instance) would certainly amuse my students. They wouldn't take health conditions into account.
I have been discussing the issue of being evaluated regularly all along this course, when he's wondered what marks I get. And if I remember correctly, he was the one of us who stated it's easier for both the teacher and me to know what I've learned or if I've learned anything.And I'm quite happy with that.

Good morning, folks! I just finished calculating the average marks of my students' word tests as they are one essential part of their course grade ( 16 students average:8.69) not bad. Now I'll tackle their essays, while supervising another group's exam.

ReplyDeleteI also feel the thrill and fears od being a student again,but it's rather nice, don't you think? My kids are always asking me about my marks and so I have to make an effort. They would love to find an excuse in case they get a bad result!
It's a bit of a pressure to be evaluated twice a week, but it also keeps us awake and focused.
Here we're having -8ºC, so it's not exactly hot, either.
